Dove in 2B?

I have the antelope muzzy hunt the 1st week of September. My son and I usually hunt doves in Wickenburg. We were wondering if it would be worth taking a shotgun along so when we are not hunting antelope we could try some dove hunting. Can anyone comment on if this is doable?

You might find a few around stock tanks out in the flats.

My son wants something to do while I am busy chasing goats. Hopefully I can tag out early and we can get some birds.

heck I would do it. I'm sure even in that part of AZ they have a few dove, LOL
