Just in case you were wondering just how tough the odds were this year.

Quite the jump in applications it seems compared to the last few years. Seems like there were about 3k more applicants in both the deer and elk draws

Odds are brutal, and getting worse by the year. There are hunts that were 100% draw 2 years ago down to 40% in two years. Its nuts . Seems like everyone applies their 90 year grandma and their dead dogs lol

Yeah but people hunt for a lot different reasons than they did when I was younger. The dedication or true love for people differs so much hard to say who is here to stay and who just watched too many Instagram and YouTube videos.

Hopefully it’s not the later and people are in it to grow the sport and cause they love this sport !
