So for the past week, I have been traveling for funerals, and deer hunting in Wyoming. Living in motels and spending more on coffee than food. Told the wife tonight I was craving bread!!!

This was a typical Sunday sandwich around our house in New Jersey when I was growing up. Fresh hoagie rolls, sliced, stripped and cooked round steak. Sautéed sweet onions and jalepenos, and nice sharp Provolone cheese. Lays potato chips, Cole slaw, and steamed veggies. Yep, I'm full now!!!

Yes, in our house my Mom and Dad didn't care for hot spicy dishes, or peppers. They and all their friends preferred this sandwich with thin sliced beef like a Philly, but only sautéed onions and mushrooms, and cheese. With lots of Mayo and didn't use au jus for dipping.
