Edit a post?

All of my posting on MM is done by voice texting on my cell phone And the spelling is often incorrect. Also sometimes I want to change what I posted. How do I edit the post to make corrections?

At the bottom of the post is a drop down, an arrow. Click that and then edit. But there is a time limit. I think it’s 5 hours.

So does the original post stay as is for the time up to five hours before it’s edited?

Sorry man, I've read your post a couple times and I just don't understand what you're asking.
I'll try to answer.
You have up to 5 hours to edit a post.

Meaning after 5 hours you are not allowed to edit your post anymore.
Edits are effective immediately after they are made. There is no waiting period for the changes to take affect.
