Elk archery (Hunters choice) on LE

So I just want to verify that you can hunt on an elk LE unit with an archery elk hunters choice tag and harvest a cow or elk?

Yes cow elk or spike elk

Except the cow/spike season closes this Friday. And there are a few units that don’t allow the harvest of cows, only spikes. The bookcliffs is one of them I believe

Of all the spike units for general season archery the bookcliffs are the only unit you can ONLY shoot a spike all others it is spike or cow.
