Elk burger steak with mushrooms and brown gravy

I tried an new recipe this week and it was crazy delicious.

I took a pound of elk burger and put in some bread crumbs, spices, (I like it hot so hot pepper) and three eggs. mix good and make into two nice 1/2 pound burger steaks.
I broil my steaks in the oven until brown and crispy on the outside and then turn them and cook on the other side until done.

In another pan take a pound of portabella mushrooms and cut them up in slices to saute' in a pan with a little butter. Once they are cooked down dump in three cans of beef comsume' and saute' for about 10 minutes then take about two tablespoons of corn starch and water in an bowland our into the mixture to thicken the dish. Cook until it is to your liking of thickness.

I make mashed potatoes and then put the steak in the plate with the potatoes and pour the gravy all over it.

Amazing one of my new favorite dishes
