Elk Hunting - La Sal, La Sal Mountains?

I drew out for the La Sal, La Sal mountains elk hunt this year by mistake. I wanted the La Sal Manti hunting range, but accidently selected the wrong area. I'm trying to make the best of it by finding someone who knows where the elk are in the La Sal, La Sal Mountains. I'm looking for someone to help guide in exchange for some of the elk and just having a great hunting time. Do you know anyone you suggest I speak with that hunts in this area? Your help is greatly appreciated.

If I turn it in, I lose the $280 fee. Still may be the best option.

Don't turn it back in. Just get a map, and hunt the areas close to private land. East side, close to JB ranch, redd ranch etc. You won't regret keeping the tag. Not alot of huge elk up there, but many, many 300 to 340 class, and with some hard hunting you might find a 370-380 class.
