Elk load for kids

My 14 yr old daughter will be shooting my wife's LE bull here in UT via the mentoring program. I am trying to decide which gun/load to have her use. 6.5x284 using a 130gr accubond, or 6.5x280ai using a 140gr Berger. Both loads are very accurate. The best I have found with each gun.

Both will work, I would pick the one she shoots best.

She is a tough girl. My daughter wouldn't enjoy shooting those guns. My bet either one would do the job on an elk. Good luck and have a blast!!

Either one will work fine, have her shoot them both and see which one she prefers. Good luck on the hunt!

Pick the one that fits her the best. Make some reduced recoil loads for practice. Use the real deal for the hunt.
