These were on the butte behind the Refuge. The coyotes harrassed them all day.

Great photos! They sure didn't seem to be worried about those two critters that are almost on top of them!

I was there a few weeks ago and took a bunch too. did you see the ewe licking the salt off the cars? I have some of her 3 feet away but I don't know how yo post them.

Those sheep are pretty settled when they hang in that Butte area.

Neat photo's----thanks for sharing them.

Rick----

My best guess is unit 7 for a migration of the sheep....

We are up there alot and the sheep seem to start showing up after a couple decent snow storms and then bring on the cold/frigid temps.

We need to 'double date' a trip up to the cabin......but keep the 'girls' from shopping to dang much in Jackson Hole! ha

Yea, right Robb! It they're typical girls and there's a decent town nearby, you better leave them at home, LOL!!!

LAST EDITED ON Feb-28-11 AT 09:19PM (MST)[p]Thanks Robb,
I thought they would have come from 7 but then I got curious if they wandered in from somewhere else.
There are malls lots closer than Jackson for the girls to spend all our money!
