Hey Guys

I was at a family reunion last week and my cousins and I were wondering if there is a unit that maybe 6 or 7 of us could draw a antelope tag so we could hunt together like we used to.
not looking for a great unit just one we can draw with 0 points but there are antelope in it.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance for any help

Sorry, but I'd say it's been 20 years since that kind of unit existed.
Good luck though. Maybe somebody knows something I don't.

There are some units in the Northeast you could draw but there's very little public land. Your best option if you want to do this hunt in 2020 would be to go with an outfitter.

It is going to be tough to do what you want to do. Since Wyoming allows 6 together on applications, you could try for a random tag in a middle of the road unit where there is some public to hunt. If you don't draw, you don't go. You could also apply for doe tags. Good luck!

Yeah, I was thinking doe tags too, Maybe in like 23 or somewhere up there where there's a bunch of tags. Pay a trespass fee, have a bunch of fun, and fill some freezers!

I would suggest you secure permission to hunt on private land prior to getting a fistful of the type 2 or type 7 licenses. One of the main reasons there are a lot of licenses left over is it can be difficult to obtain permission to hunt, especially with the type 2 licenses.

Good luck, I hope it works out for your group.
