Fillmore - Oak Creek South Doe tag

Drew a doe tag today. Kind of cool as we love antelope meat and being a tag junky, ill hunt anywhere I can just about any time. Hunt is August 1-11th. Shouldn't be too hard to kill a doe antelope but for those more familiar with the area/hunt - any tips or advice? Probably tent camp it as it should be warm and dry.

Seems like that area is mostly private property but I could be wrong. Lots of fields south of oak creek.

Think that’s the unit I had last year for my buck tag. Pm me tomorrow I’ll give the spot I went to. Lots of antelope and camping spots, BLM land. You might be done in a few minutes though.

i’m probably going to put in for this doe tag next year. anybody have any luck on public land south of 50? ungated roads on the blm ??
