Filmore Early Deer Youth

My son drew early Filmore tag October 11-15th. Headed down to do some scouting end of August early September. Anyone have some good advice on where a good place to start at would be?

Begin your scouting by heading for the top and start looking. Cover some ground every morning and evening and you’ll see deer.

Thank you, plan on covering lot's of ground. Just wasn't sure what part of the unit to start in, North, South, ect.
