KINDA WIERD!!!

SMOKE WENT UP BLACK & WHEN IT GOT WAY UP IN THE SKY IT TURNED WHITE!!!

When you drive in the Mormon 500 kinda makes you feel like you have driven a few laps in nascar.
I was doing yard work yesterday and watched that the burn all the while.but I live across the valley up on the hill side so I couldn't see what was burning.Mayebe they were burning fragmighties(sp)or dead brime shrimp.........RIMROCK

I was golfing yesterday, on a course well above the airport, and there were actually three fires out north of the airport, it actually looked as if it was just weeds, and if they had to use deisel to start it???? but no plane containing a clinton or anything that good.

Out on the duck clubs, they were burning that #@^$% phragmites, another "introduced" species that's taking over, ruinning duck breeding areas.

Fire set in lake marshes

A burn in the wetlands of the Great Salt Lake is clearly visible from a plane approaching the Salt Lake airport Saturday. The Utah Division of Wildlife Resources set the flames in an attempt to control an invasive, non-native plant called phragmites. The ornamental plant has no food value, offers no cover for waterfowl and pushes out the marsh's valuable plants. The plants, which were killed by spraying earlier, are being burned so native plants can grow.
