I stand corrected...This am when I pulled int o SF at 7 the valley was smoke filled.....Receieved email that it was contained.....Ht and windy outside right now , hope they get a handle on it ..

LAST EDITED ON Jun-15-17 AT 06:00PM (MST)[p]Pretty close--from what I've heard it started by the mine near the Los Conchas trail head and then it jumped SR 4, and is threatening the homes there. They've closed the road right at Sierra de Los Pinos.

I may lose two of my rifles--the gunsmith that I took them to lives right there. Not that that's big deal compared to what they all must be going through right now... :-(

Looks like they are fighting if from air. Saw a 737 slurry circling the fire from my house.

I drove through it last night. Looks like they've got it mostly under control and thankfully, it missed the homes.
