Feddoc posted this information in the Campfire forum. It should be in this forum as well. I wonder if they would also apply this to racist antifa members and seize their guns?

"Antifa" Members Accuse Him of Being a "Racist"
ERIC STRIKER • JULY 28, 2020
A California man had his registered firearm seized by local police after “antifa” members on social media accused him of being racist on the internet — the first case of its kind.

On July 7th/8th, left-wing extremist twitter user @anonymouscommie doxed a Sacramento resident named Andrew Casarez. The anonymous account accused him of being a “neo-Nazi troll.”

On the very same day, the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office opened up an investigation into him. During a background check, they found that Casarez was a registered gun owner. On July 13th, 2020, Sergeant Nate Grgich executed a search warrant for his home and car.

Nothing illegal or of a criminal nature was found during the search, but Sgt. Grgich was able to get a judge’s permission to seize Casarez’s handgun, a pair of pants and a “racist” t-shirt using a new law enforcement tool called a “gun restraining order,” which was signed by Judge Jaime R. Roman.

The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office is bragging about being the first in the country to seize a firearm using primarily the owner’s political ideology as the excuse.

A little research indicates this guy was probably not a real good dude. Tough to tell how accurate the information is.

Had he committed a crime of any sort? He can be an azz hole all he wants last I checked? This is a slope we don’t want to go down!

You Mean:

Are we rolling downhill like a snowball headed for hell?

It's Past Time to Wish!

This Country Better WAKE THE HELL Up!

"Back When Nixon Lied to us all on TV"

They Lie to us all on a Daily Basis Now!

When I Was a Young Kid!

And The President was Talking on the Radio/TV I/We Took what they were Saying to Heart!

How Bout Now?

This is really sad. I used to tease dude about the sheriff coming to his house and getting his guns after one of his mindless posts to stir the pot using red flag laws. Now we're sitting here seeing it happen. It's going down just like it does in socialist countries. Somebody accuses somebody of something to the authorities and bing, bang, boom the guys committed a political crime against the state. The fact a socialist political organization did it only shows how close we are. They know how to play the game to incite folks to use the system.

Look at that couple in St Louis that stood on their lawns holding guns to ward off illegal trespassers who broke down a gate to get into their development.and were threatening them. They were protecting their property! The SOROS backed DA filed charges against them not the clowns that broke into the development. It wasn't until the Gov and his state AG intervened that the folks had much help in getting the charges dropped if they actually ever were! The gov. had to say he's pardon them to show the city DA who held the power. You guys are right we're on a slippery slope in this country and headed for hell is the right!

The fact we have many on this forum that can't connect the dots because of long standing political affiliation is crazy. Today's democrat party isn't that party of old at all it's been infiltrated by socialists and is headed by one Tom Perez! Hell Biden's front runner for VP Bass has long standing ties with the socialist party in CUBA and was a member of socialist organizations in that country. Look at how many current dems have had pictures taken with the Castro's and are smiling ear to ear at having done so! The future of this country is hanging by a thread and they've almost managed to topple us from within. We've got one chance left to erase Obama's transformation plan and 2020 is it!

Oh and they're not after our guns is a false flag gambit, they're after your NATION and your GUNS! Your guns are just another obstacle in the process but one they may covet even more to ease their transformation into power.

I agree with you boskee..it's scary when our cops and the judicial system start working with terrorist groups. This country is in big trouble hopefully there are enough right minded people left to do something about it in November

There will be some fools that will state this is CA. and nothing to worry about in my state. That fool does not know that CA. got the idea of the "ten round magazine" law from New York. Right now Washington and Oregon has created some anti gun laws that was copied from CA.
If you have liberal Democrats in your state government, look out it will be coming sooner or later. My son, the cop, told me that if he is ever instructed to go to people's homes and take their guns, he will turn in his badge and refuse to follow those orders. He should never had to come to the point of thinking about that and what he would do.

You're 100% RIGHT RELH!!!! They're never after your guns is one of the biggest myths perpetuated by the dem party!! It's always the other guy until it's you then............

We all have to be vigilant in protecting others rights to protect our own!

I hope everyone that follows these threads has very carefully considered where they stand on these issues.

What will YOU do if, or when, a LE officer shows up at your door to confiscate your firearms?

Whatever you decide, will change your life forever.

When I read the history of the events leading up to the American Revolution, or the Civil War, it always seemed clear what was right & wrong. I guess history is written by the victors.

RELH,
Kudos to your son, , , , and you. I cannot imagine the struggles you must be going through.
These are trying times for us all.

I’m sure glad I don’t have any of the weapons of the type they are looking for. I assume nobody else here does either.

I sold all mine years ago and didn't replace them. Since I'm an old bolt action guy it just made more sense. Besides if it comes to revolution I wouldn't be good for much except a sacrificial rear guard!

They will seize any firearm you have under that search warrant, that includes any handguns and hunting rifles, shotguns. Don't fool yourself it is only for assault weapons.
Then it will be up to you to hire an attorney to fight in court to prove you are not a danger to the public before you can get your firearms returned to you.

I sold all mine & went to full auto Narwhal tusks & an old Fred Bear recurve with a few cedar arrows.

I was driving down a Forest Service road during deer season and a buck ran across the road in front of me. I quickly parked, grabbed my rifle and tried to sneak down where I could get a shot. I never saw him again and when I got back to my unlocked truck my handguns were missing. Of course I reported the theft to the cops when I got home. I sure hope they find them some day.

Eel at your age you should have guns that there is no record of them being in your possession. Back in the 70's, 80's and even the 90's, private sales were legal without going though a dealer. A family member was allowed to give guns to another immediate family member without a dealer involved.
All those guns do not have a paper trail leading to the owner. Heck I know one friend, do not ask who, that had half of his gun collection that was bought via private party and several given to him by a family member and no record of him owning them. In fact he has passed on several guns to sons and still no record of the sons owning them. All were legal transactions at the time of the transfer of the firearms.
There are millions of firearms out there that the government has no ideal who owns them.
This red alert law is going to be one that will be misused by many persons who have a grudge against a gun owner. Do not p!ss off your wife during a divorce or make your neighbor mad at you. Get your girlfriend pregnant and then tell her to kiss off as she may get even with you!!!

RELH, good point. The two guns that were stolen were ones that I purchased and are registered to me. California wants you to take all the guns that aren't registered ( inherited or purchased from a private sale years ago) into a dealer and have them registered to you. I think it's even a law now. I know some fools.....I mean people who complied. I was at a gun shop one day and a guy came in to register his inherited gun. The dealer said, "if you insist" and charged him a fee, of course, and kept the gun until he passed a back ground check.

California can wish for whatever it wants as far as I'm concerned. I'll do what's in my best interest. Just because I live in California doesn't mean I'm a Californian.
