First DIY Euro Sheep

While sheep hunting this year, I found a nice deadhead bighorn ram. This is my first attempt at any euro mount.

What did you use to whiten up the skull?

Go to a beauty supply store like Sally. Get some 40 peroxide cr?me and some basic white in powder form. Mix the two together to form a paste. Wear rubber gloves and brush it on your skull and wrap it with Saran Wrap and let it sit for a few hours. Spray with aerosol lacquer after you have washed off the skull to remove the beauty supplies.

This is all assuming that you have removed all the meat, fat and grease off the skull. I use Borax or washing soda to get the meat and fat off. Bring it to a simmer but don't boil it. After the skull looks free of fat and meat, use some Dawn and soak it in a bucket with Dawn and warm water until the grease is gone.
