Man congratulations! I don't think I have ever seen an elk with a head that big ?? Florida?s elk population has been booming in the last few years. Unreal.

My arm span is over 6 feet!

Widest swamp bull I ever killed!

It was Northern Florida!

That's the reason for the trace amounts of snow!

Man, rough crowd!

Just wanted to be part of the Trophy bull club... Possibly get some recognition for a job well done.

Didn?t mean for it to look as big as it really is.

No high fences!

No finders fees!

No Guides!

No roads blocked!

No tires slashed!

No FLATTY?S!

No drones involved!

No ten dozen spotters crawling through the hills!

Just 46 miles of boots on the dirt!

Those two elk will look awesome mounted together.
It's a great example of the Northern Florida Greater Elk and the South Florida Pygmy Elk.
They'll make a wonderful contrasting display.
Congrats man!

Thanks!

If you're looking for a stand up photographer, I'll recommend this guy!

He followed for 46 miles waiting for that moment when I told him it's time for the photo shoot!

He can't see very well!

But he takes great pics as you have seen!

Reasonably priced too!

Congrats!!
I see a weak g1 on the left. I've heard that is quite common on north Floridian elk.
Although, after walking and hunting for 46 miles, you sure you weren't in Georgia???...
:D

Positive!

It was Definitely Florida!

A lot folks walking around with larger than normal teeth!

Did I mention it was all done bare footed?!

Feet toughened up around mile 41!

Must have been a cold year in Florida this year for it to snow. But I guess sometimes those tropical storms drop a lot of hail on the ground that would look like snow. ?

LAST EDITED ON Dec-06-19 AT 10:45AM (MST)[p]Great Florida bull! That is a great general season bull. Some guys would burn 20 points for a LE bull like that.
Hunting barefoot with all those gators around? You must be tougher than your feet. Congrats!

Wish you hadn't let the cat out of the bag on Florida elk. But since you did, just another typical 2-1/2 yr old Everglades bull. You should have held out for a mature 6-7 yr old. :D :D
