I thought doing this on youtube but that didn't work out very well for a certain family.
So here's my confession.
I've never killed a buck over any type of bait or trail camera sight.
Not one.
Not that's there's anything wrong with that. lol

They were all killed either by spot and stalk or still hunting with the wind in my favor.

I mainly kept those arguments on the other baiting threads going, so I could see what the public opinion was. If they do ban baiting, are all types of attractants going to be banned or are they considered not as bad?
I love the pictures I get of all types of animals from my trail cams. I've only started using them in the past few years. I'd hate to loose that opportunity in the future.
Either way, like most people. I'll adapt and continue to hunt in other creative out of the box ways.

Why? Deer can’t be elusive anymore. Someone always knows where they are. They could use a little more privacy.

I’m all for fair chase. If they got rid of all scopes on all weapons. Walking up to it with your phone on a selfie stick wearing full Sitka gear and being as pumped up on mountain athlete supplements as possible. Walking past your 12 game cams for better footage for your Facebook live stream. Sounds about right new guy. Never had a problem with old cap and ball in blue jeans. Wish I was as cool as my dad who has no camo and plenty of bucks that I have drooled over my whole life.

Props to anyone that hunts with old fashion gear! I’m not bagging on that. Like I said in my first post, I’m fine either way. Take scopes off all guns and I’ll still hunt with open sights with zero complaints. Take away tree cams I’ll still go out scouting and glassing on my own time. Take away camo and I’ll gladly hunt buck naked!!!!! 10% of hunters are stuck in the 80s. It’s not change that I’m scared of. I’ll go backwards if the law says too. But for now I’m moving forward with the times and keeping my night force 5-25x56 on my paramount muzzy and running my tree cameras all year long.

Assassin, unfortunately most people were aware of the majority of the issues you cited however, the underlying problems were that no-one listened/cared, self-absorption, greed, increased funding directives for the G and F, wildlife mis-management, lack of sportsmen getting involved and speaking out, idea that hunting opportunities and game populations would always remain stable to name a few.
