Found bear carcass from 2020 or earlier Colorado

I was up archery elk and bear hunting in unit 181 Colorado last week (9/12/21) and happened across an old bear carcass. It had been there for quite some time and was pretty much just cleaned bones and fur. Got a cool skull and some claws out of the find. I was wondering if anyone had possibly killed it and lost the animal last year (2020) or even possibly earlier. If you believe it was you or someone you know please message me with some details about the area or animal itself. As I mentioned this was in unit 181.

She’d really be upset knowing I scrubbed the old dried up maggots out of the skull in our kitchen sink.

let that soak in peroxide for a few weeks. you'll be supersized how whit it will get. i cleaned up an old badger skull my buddies daughters found. it was real yellow and it came out nice.

I think it looks great the way, kind of like patina…
