From Camcorder to Computer

I have a camcorder that is not digital but I would like to be able to put my footage on my computer. Is there a way to do this without having to buy another camera. Maybe some hardware that can be used to convert from VHS to DV?

you can install a deal that lets you plug it in just like you would on a TV and then you can use a variety of software to edit it. Places like Best Buy have it. Usually costs $90+ depending on what you want and most come with software.

What you need is a video capture card. Ebay has em. Get yourself a capture card the appropriate cabling and the editing s/w and you are good to go.

I use one and am able to take stills from the video tape. I will attach a couple pic's so you can see what I mean.
