Full Moon?

Would you hunt goats on a full moon? I know it affects elk and deer and, generally, I try to avoid it. But does anybody have enough experience with Mt goats to say whether there is an decrease in daytime activity during the full moon?

I wouldn't worry about moon phase for mtn goats where I've watched them for years here in Colo. It may be different in BC or other locations if they spend more time in the trees. You can normally put mtn goats "to bed" in a rock outcropping and they will be there at first light the next morning....same thing goes for bighorn sheep. Similar to pronghorn you should be able to hunt them all day long since mtn goat "generally" prefer open country.

Just be aware of wind/air currents because next to mtn goat eyes their noses are incredible!
