Fun hunt with Borderland Adventures

Just returned from a week in the Sonoran mountains hunting Coues with Borderland Adventures, and I had an absolute blast! Deer density on the ranch I was hunting was incredible, and we passed many 90" bucks every day. I was pretty picky, and some real bruisers gave us the slip, but I was finally able to put 2 great bucks on the ground. I learned a lot about scoring on the hoof and gained new appreciation for the simple things.

I'll hunt with Borderland again, no doubt about it.

How much does it cost? Is that cost worth the risk of hunting in a failed state run by NARCO drug cartels? If something goes wrong down there who is Borderland Adventures going to call for help on your behalf - Ghost Busters?

That ranch is now running 4750 for Coues. I have never felt unsafe with this outfitter, nor in rural Mexico. What risk are you referring to? Do you really think the cartels give one crap about hunters? It wouldn't be in the interest of either the ranch owner or the outfitter if their clients were harmed. Like saying don't go to Africa because there is too much risk.

There is risk in everything we do.

A bigger risk is driving around in downtown LA.
