Gar fishing

Looking to fish for Alligator Gar in central Texas. Any info would be appreciated.
I am willing to hire a guide if needed.

Look more toward the Trinity River or Rio Grande and larger tributaries.

The lower Guadalupe River would be fairly close. Choke Canyon is full of them.

The Sabine River anywhere downstream from Longview. Sam Rayburn and Toledo Bend Reservoirs too.

Just about any river as it gets closer to the Coast.
