First picture was Sept. 20th. Second one was early Aug.. I have a picture on Sept. 17th and he was loosing his velvet then.

Those G4's are over 12 inches I think. That right one might be longer than 13. He looks good to me. General season Utah, I'd be hunting him unless I knew of a better one. But only you know whether he's a trophy to you.
Go get him!

Really nice general season buck. There are many narrow bucks with deep forks that net B&C. I don't think he will net B&C but he will be close. I'm guessing that the longer G4 may be close to 14" and might be longer than the G2. If you are not trying to hunt him this year, I would like to see the buck your are trying to get.

Buck kind reminds me of this narrow 5x5 I was after last year with my bow.

I didn't get him after several attempts. Ended up shooting this buck at 9 yards!!

So he ended up having 16" G-4s. It's pretty cool to walk up on a buck and find him bigger than what the trail cam showed. It's my second biggest buck to date. .

I did score it but messed up. I'll do it again when I get it back from the taxidermist in about a week. I'm guessing somewhere around 190.

Congratulations. Those are some giant G2s. Very close to netting B&C. I would love to get a narrow, tall, deep forked buck someday. I'm leaving in a few days for 18 dats of hunting on two above average tags in NM and CO. Even on my first day in Colorado, I don't think I could pass on a buck like that. Really nice buck for general season tag. Most hunters wouldn't pass on a buck like that on the AZ strip or Henry?s Mountains.
