Just got a new glock 40cal model 22. I had shot a friend of mines and I loved it. I shot mine for the first time and I couldn't believe the kick. It throws my shot off and my friends didn't do that and it's the same gun. Any suggestions.

does your friend have the compensated model?

do you know about how much it cost to get a gun ported and who would do it.

www.arotek.com, they're the glock "specialists", i'd check with them first. magnaport probably works on glocks, too.

Texhunter;
You may need to find out what ammo you used in your friend's gun, and compare it to the ammo you used in your Glock. there is some very hot 40 cal ammo out there, and it has more recoil then the standard loads. Also if the recoil is blowing your second shot off, you may want to try and use the "Weaver" style of shooting. This methold is one of the best for fast rapid shots with heavy calibers.
