Good day of hiking for me..........

I left the car at about 8:00am, by 4:00pm I had found 5 small little antlers, then I hit a great spot. Found 3 sets really quick. Pretty darn awesome day. The weather wasn't ideal (wet, windy, hale and snow off and on), but I found some big antlers and that's cool. I've never had a day like it before. 15 antlers total. Estimated 16-18 miles of hiking....12 hours total. Man, my feet hurt bad when I got back to the car!!

The biggest set should gross around 209 and is over 36 inches wide out to the cheater!!!

This is the last antler I found. My camera died before getting a pic as it laid. It was near dark and I was a long way from the car. I spent about 15 minutes looking for the other side. I sure wish I had found it. Oh well, maybe next trip.

Actually, about half were this year's antlers. All the bigger ones are fresh, believe it or not.

Great day! Gotta love those days when your biggest problem is trying to rearrange the sheds on your pack every half hour! Looks like an awful lot of green in those pictures, you having an early greenup there?
