GPS Tracker for ebike

Anybody use one of these for their ebike? Or the search warrant policy for police in Colorado if a theft is tracked? Just bought a bike and want to find out how these things work, especially in remote elk country. Tried a MM archive search but could not find anything. Thanks.

I lost my wallet a cpl years ago and since then have a Tile on it. It works as advertised but you need cell service.
