Blank, you are Da Man. Going to experiment tomorrow morning with a slight twist on your tator tot in a muffin dish sausage/ egg filling. Im going to try it with rolled out biscuits lining the muffin dish , then fill it with egg and breakfast meat . Can't wait.
Have tried that too, and we really like them. The regular size biscuits are just about perfect, when you roll them out. If you use the large size Grands, they roll out big enough to fold over, and put toppers on them (keeps from burning the cheese)!!
Do them that way in a large muffin tin, and use cream of chicken soup, canned chicken, and frozen vegetables to make easy bake chicken pot pies too.
It was a big family Hit...everyone enjoyed it . Lined the muffin trays with rolled out biscuits , baked at 350 for about 7 minutes, pulled from oven , pushed biscuits into shape as they wanted to rise out of tray, filled with sausage, then topped off with whipped eggs and green chile.. baked another 8-10 minutes....da Bomb. I will be doing this one again
