Never scored an elk so I could not begin to guess, but he'd certainly be a keeper for me. First morning right at daylight hunt would be over with no regrets.

I will guess that he is one of the Kachina Village herd though. Notice the fence in the background? Certainly keeps the juices flowing for my late November hunt in AZ. Thanks for posting the pic.

LAST EDITED ON Jul-14-09 AT 11:21PM (MST)[p]geez where have I been. I thought the only barbwire fence in the state was in the Kachina meadow. :) just kidding man. lol

Thanks for the pic's Keystone. I'll be looking for their cousin's in another area to the east in a few months. I will get the leftovers after the stick and string, smokepole and cow hunters are thru, but it will be a great hunt anyway.

Love the trail cam pic's.

That boy is still growing, and obviously he is a young bull, I agree that around 280 is where he is right now. Probably end up as a 300 inch bull.

Do you guys know what state these bulls are in? Gentlemen, you are looking at a true 400" bull for sure!!! LOL Probably 290" now maybe a bit more by the time hes done. I didn't think there were bulls that small in AZ.
