HAMS hunt Floy Canyon

Anyone have experience with the Floy canyon HAMS hunt? Curious what kind of bucks are taken. I saw some nice bucks in there 15+ years ago. I decided to gamble on it.

300WIN- Congrats on what I think will be a fun experience for you. I and a few family members have hunted the Book Cliffs South rifle deer hunt 5 times in the past 14 years. I tried talking my uncle into putting in for this exact hunt this year, but its hard to jump away from what he's wanted for the last 13 years...

Anyway, I think for the area a 160" buck is a good one, and anything bigger is great. Educate yourself on what a 23" wide, 150" buck looks like... and don't kill the first one you see like that. Or the first 3 or 4 like that. ? Id love to hear some follow up on your hunt later this year and see what your experience is like... Good luck brother.!

Thanks for the information. I’m hoping for something a little bigger. 170+. I saw some really good bucks years ago but it sounds like the quality has slipped a little. I’m going to contact the biologist and see what information he has. It sounds like it could be a fun hunt but who knows. If anyone has any information on what is coming out of the unit I would really appreciate it.
