Headed North for the Opener

I moved back to the White Mountains of AZ back in August, and have been having a blast being back! I have seen big mature bulls almost daily on my 30 minute commute to Alpine. I am, however, looking forward to returning to the PNW this weekend to hunt the elusive mule deer. It will be good to see old friends and hunt my old haunts! I hope the weather cooperates with a few inches of white stuff! Who else is excited for the hunt?

It has been slow, but it has picked up the last two or three days. My buddy missed a 3x4 this morning.

We ended up with a pretty successful season.
