1)Has anyone had any experience with the following products I am considering?
Nikon Sky & Earth 15x45x60 or 20x60x80
Nikon XL 16X47
Sightron SII 20x50x63 or 20x50x80
2) I can only find limited information on the brightness of the Nikons. The sky & earth is 16 @ 15x on the 60mm and 9 @ 27x on the 80mm. Does anyone know of a good website where we can compare such things?
(The places I have looked at these products are in inside stores with very limited distances. Can't tell the diff between $50 and $1000 optics in such conditions.)
3) Anyone have any negative comments on the 80 mm? I'm guessing they are a little bulkier than the 60 mm for a lot better optics.
4) The sky and earth has a lot of models. Some have eyepieces that are straight or offset; or the body is straight or offset. What is the purpose of these variations?
Thanks in advance.
