We caught a few when We were up there & the Guy We were Fishing with was really Rantin & Raving!

Don't know what He was More Proud about?

The Few Rainbows We caught or the Bald Eagles!

I've seen a Bunch of Both and you don't need to go clear to Alaska to See them!

There's some really big rainbows up here but most are caught after tourist season is mostly over or right when the ice melts. If big rainbows are your thing september is a good time to be chasing them. But who the **** is thinking of fishing in sept?

The best Rainbow fishing I had in Alaska was in Sitkoh Creek/lake on Chichagof Island. If we got tired of catching rainbows we switched to a yellow Panther Martin and catch sea run cutthroats. But that was only after steelhead fishing the incoming tide. I know where I'd build a cabin in Alaska if I could.
