Hogdogs

I've been thinking about getting some dogs so I can hunt hogs. I got a few buddys that have some and they are real good at what they do but i'm wondering how you would have to train the dogs. Hounds and catch dogs. Any one know anything about training some hogdogs.

My best friends dad hunts them in North Carolina somewhere and I know nothing about training hog dogs but he has pictures of the dogs they used and three of the six dogs were rat terriers. I just found this very interesting, being that I have bigger terds when I sh**.
