How about a Nebraska sub forum?

Suggestion to add a Nebraska sub forum in state section. Some big mule deer and elk are harvested here. Would be nice to see, thanks.

Not a popular state for public hunting with less than 3% public land. Majority of hunters I'm guessing are landowners or hunt clubs.

Elk is limited to residents, finally I drew my OIL elk this year after 30 years of applying. Deer is really limited to someone with access to private land so that limits it a lot. I enjoy hunting my home state but Homer with his sarcasm is probably correct limited traffic at best. I've tried to help as many on here as I could with the limited public options but it gets pounded. I rode the national forest with my bike today and on this a down year for grouse and archery deer open the parking lots are all full as is the roadside to them.

Here's a argument to keep it going.

I'd like to see states ban hunters from other states that don't allow NR hunters.

Meaning Nebraska residents should be banned from applying for elk in all the other elk producing states as they don't allow NR to apply in theirs.

Sounds to me there are a lot of butthurt butthurts on here that would really LOOOVE to hunt Nebraska! LOL, relax guys, nobody is going to ban non-residents from hunting their state if the NR's state doesn't allow it. I would like to see a NE forum even if I will never set foot on that ground..

I hunt Nebraska quite often but mostly for duck and pheasants with a couple turkey thrown in for good measure. I might even smack a doe or two in November.
I still don't need a dedicated forum to post since I could use general like everyone else does who has no idea there are specific forum dedicated to their topic.

I'm sure at some point they'll realize the amount of money they could make by offering up a couple nonresident tags requiring purchasing a $120 hunting license + app fee to apply. On second thought I hope they aren't infected with the greed many other western states are, and just let their residents enjoy their small herd.

I say 90 - 10 on the elk tags, then we take a vote on the NE forum. But we use Georgia voting laws.....
