Generally, how many days early do you like to get to a hunt on a late season hunt? It's relatively familiar area/unit.

I usually show up a couple days before opener, but I suppose it depends on your situation with vacation or family.
I will say though, when I’m planning to be their for 9 days of hunting, it gets a little tough to add 3 days to the trip. 12 days out there can become exhausting and dull if the hunting isn’t very good.

I try to get their 4-5 days before and have a target for opening day. Rather scout more hunt less.
Showed up 7 days before my last years Nevada sheep hunt. Done opening morning on the best ram I could find.
