How was hunt in Wallow fire area?

Just curious, but how was the archery elk, deer or antelope hunts in units 1 and 27 Wallow fire areas. I heard a lot of people who had tags, wanting a refund back in june and july but I haven't heard anything since.

How was the hunt? Roads and camping situation? Were the numbers of animals down significantly or were things about the same. I want to hear opinions from people who have hunted the area so far.

Anyone know what the campgrounds and stream are like along the east fork of the black river?

It was a tough hunt this year, rut was slow, lots of unit 27 were closed with no entry other than to retrieve your animal.
