Does CO require a copy of a hunter education course while hunting if your a non res? Does a valid hunting license from your resident state satisisfy that?

I was told that you need to carry your hunter safety card with you while you are hunting as game wardens may ask you to provide it with your license.

You need a hunter's safety card in possession while hunting until you get it validated at a CDOW office.....a prior years hunting license from your state will NOT meet the requirement.
