Hunting Ban in Colorado too?

I have said for years. This crap in California has and will spread everywhere. No since moving out of California. We have the best weather and a lot of other benefits. People need to stay and fight this BS. Every time someone moves out these wackos gain footing.

So you're saying there's a chance California will turn red again? I just spit out my coffee laughing

Wow, I am surprised at the sharpness of the sportspersons responses to the legislature. Think maybe the wolves woke a few people up? It is an election year too! Still won't vote for a party line dem.

Well.....Headed to ballot initiative next....and the politicians can appear to not be at fault......

I received the email below this morning from NWTF regarding this bill. All the legislative contacts are listed.

Stop this Dangerous Bill to Ban Hunting and Trapping of Bobcats, Mountain Lions and Lynx in Colorado

We still need you to contact legislators regarding SB22-031, a bill that would ban hunting lion, bobcat, and lynx. The bill was referred to the Senate Agriculture and Natural Resource Committee where it is scheduled for a hearing on February 3rd. (If you can make a showing at the Capitol, please arrive early and wear clothing that identifies you as a hunter.)

The NWTF opposes SB22-031 because it disregards science-based wildlife management, runs counter to the North American Model of Wildlife Conservation and the last century's contributions of hunters and anglers. Wildlife management should be left in the hands of Colorado Parks and Wildlife.

If you have contacted your legislators using the above link, please also take a few minutes to send a personal email or make a phone call to all Colorado legislators on the list below. Let each legislator know that you OPPOSE SB 22-031 and support Colorado Parks and Wildlife, the commission, and their ability to manage our wildlife and make scientific decisions regarding our wildlife.

We need you to reach out this week! Please be brief and respectful in showing your support for our hunting heritage.

The two Republicans on the Senate Committee on Agriculture and Natural Resources are voting no and the bill's sponsor Jaquez-Lewis will vote yes. Democratic Senators Kerry Donovan and Rhonda Fields will be the two that decide if this bill lives or dies.
It's a simple majority vote - 3 no votes and it dies - 3 yes votes and it lives.

Please email Donovan and Fields and ask for their stance on SB022-031 and ask that they vote no.
