I Stopped Shooting by Volume

I've quit measuring my loads "by volume" and started pressuring all of my loads by weight. I'm shooting 97.2 gr of 777 under a 240gr XTP.

My CVA 50 cal has killed deer and elk and done so out to 200 yards. I just wanted to get better groups and more consistency out of this gun.

I began measuring loose powder by weight instead of volume because I weighed some of the 30gr pellets and some were off by as much as 5 grains. That makes quite a difference. After shooting "by weight" I found that the only draw back is needing to pre-weigh all that I'm going to shoot before I hit the range.

I've found that my groups are so consistent up and down and bow they only vary right and left. (That's me)

Anyone else do this? Just for safety reasons, please note that all powders are different in their volumes, so dont use any of my measurements as a reference for your shooting and your choice of powder.
