I'm wondering if you have any valuable information for mule deer hunting Idaho, Unit 55. Oct. 5th-31. I've never been to the area and plan on going to scout July 16th weekend. I have an ATV and will take off on foot. Not a road hunter. It appears there's more trails around Independence Lake, rather than that of Lake Cleveland. I'm wondering if I should enter the unit from the west or east side? Any help you can give me will be appreciated. I will not harvest young bucks. Want to take my truck w/a truck camper and pull a small trailer. Prefer nice road in, find a place to camp, not too gnarly. Good vantage spotting locations. Please PM me. And if you're hunting alone as I will be at that time, maybe we could divide/conquer? Thank you, Dennis Donovan
