Keep a close eye on how far north the snow melt is, because right now it a good ways south of the interstate. You might have to be really mobile and see where the flocks are before showing up to hunt.

Tell them what counties in So Dakota you will be in and buy the their county magazine has who owns land what with farmers name and phone number.
It a got to have if you go that route.
If you hunt those areas north my niece has land right on Dry Lake that is between Willow lake and Clark, which always has birds on it.
Good luck and good shooting.

Hope you all have a good trip.
Check the temp forecast for Huron/Sioux Falls and that will give ya a heads up if the snow is melting quick or slow.

Got some friends head to Missouri the last days of March and they are worried it still might be to early even then.
