Installing a threaded sleeve in my rifle stock

I'd like to install a small threaded sleeve in my rifle stock so I can attach a tripod foot when I'm backpack hunting (I already have the tripod along but can save the weight of my normal bipod).

Anyone have any advice on where I can find the part for this and/or what I should consider when installing?

Thanks!

Thanks for your reply.

It is a fiberglass stock (Weatherby Ultralight).

The foot attaches with a 1/4" bolt. It only has a single bolt, I'm considering installing two sleeves on the stock and drill holes in the foot so recoil won't damage the stock.

If you're looking for a way to rest you're gun for shooting off your tripod you could do something like this.
I made this little cradle out of light weight diamond plate aluminum and tapped it for the quarter 20 thread for a quick release clip. Put a little foam cushion in there with gorilla glue and it works great I carry it in my backpack and if I go on a stalk I mount it on my tripod in case I need it for a shot.
