I'm wondering if some folks with experience in the Jarbidge could weigh in on this question. With the archery hunt now starting on August 16th this year how long do the mature bulls stay in velvet in this area?
This seems like a very unique opportunity to potentially harvest a great bull in full velvet. The only other opportunities I can think of where this is possible are governor's tags?

You may find smaller bulls in velvet, but the larger bulls will likely be out by then.

I hunted deer up there a few years ago seen alot of bull's and they were all hard horn already
