Just turned in my 221-223 mid season mule deer tag

Last year we got skunked across the board drawing tags. This year, between Nevada and Arizona our family drew ten tags. My oldest son drew a bull tag in 221-223 as an alternate. Two of my kids drew Nevada mule deer and also drew Arizona mule deer this year. All three kids drew javelina in AZ in November and my wife drew a late cow elk tag. The neighbor kid drew a mule deer tag that we are going to help her fill. My buddy who has helped me pack out several elk also drew a mule deer tag so I am going to help him next week. This is more meat than we can consume and my kids hunts take priority over my own. I was drawn as an alternate for a muley in 221-223. Needless to say, it is going to be a very busy fall and I won't be able to devote the time I want to going on my own hunt. Some lucky winner will be notified as an alternate on a mule deer tag this week. Hopefully it is someone on this forum.

Congrats on your kids drawing the tags that they got. Good luck on each of their hunts. That stinks you had to turn in a tag but hopefully it will make some lucky guy or gals day when they get notified. ??
