That's just my 3rd buck that I've killed. Yeah down here in the Black Range it can get very rocky. I killed this deer at about 1:30pm, after I had hunted all morning. It came out about 200yds away at the bottom of a rocky ravine as I was walking by. I missed on the first shot than hit it at about 300yds on the next one. My father and uncle were on the other side of ridge that I had crossed and heard me shooting; they got on the radio and asked me what I was shooting at. I told them I had a killed a little fork horn, but I was going to need help dragging it uphill over another ridge, to get back to my Jeep. I will never forget the look on their faces when they walked up and saw that it was really a 12 pointer (5x7)! 3 hours later we had it loaded up in the Jeep and celebrated for the rest of the night.
