I passed on the only buck I saw and he was decent, I think the deer were nocturnal and it never really got cold enough for them to come out to eat in the morning and evening, anyone else do any good?

Our group went 4 for 5 on bucks and 3 for 5 on does. We seen very few deer and we had to be aggressive to get the ones we got. I killed mine on the last day we had to hunt. All of the bucks had broken horns. Out of 11 eye guards only 1 was left intact. Hope to be back this year. Weather was nice but it made the hunting conditions challenging.
