First time to mexico for me, we leased a ranch for the entire hunt. This weekend we took the guns accross the border. We got an evening and morning of glassing in. The North end of the ranch is looking into 35 B. Saw a few hunters out hunting the late hunt, one of them even snuck into Mexico to hunt (that is one stupid sob, there aint a deer big enough to do that). Saw a few legals getting ready to become illegal. We have until February 3rd to hunt so I will be back down for 10 days this weekend, day after xmas. The unbelievable thing was first 10 minutes of light a 105-110 inch coues buck stood broadside for 10 minutes at 340 yards. I was pissed to have that dilema the first morning of the first day of the hunt. I finally decided I had better take a shot and he decided he had better walk into a cut. That was that, so hopefully it should only get better on coues and muley as the rut picks up.
