Latir Sheep Hunters

Just wondering if anyone here drew one of the Latir Sheep tags or knows who did ?? I guided the only tagholder on that hunt last year, ended up killing an awesome ram. I'm putting out the offer to help out any tagholder this year NO CHARGE . I know every inch of the Latir Sheep range, and left 2 rams there last year that I'd love to see hit the dirt. I live here in Questa, spend alot of time up there on horseback anyways.

Easy to find the ewes. Tough part is getting up to them. Closest place is from Cabresto Lake. You're looking at a "pleasant" 6 mile hike up to the happy hunting grounds

Ok, thanks for the info. The success rate on this hunt last year was only 45%, so it got me a little concerned on if those ewes get spooky after the first morning and become difficult to find. I've never made the "pleasant" hike, so looking forward to it.

I actually heard ur the worst guy to go with,you couldn't find a sheep if you were standing in a sheep pen full of them haha. Oh the other kind of cheap haha. Don't forget the valcro gloves
