Unfortunately the ship has sailed for many on the reissue tag list because guys can't keep from blasting info on the net. At this point if you don't have your own self built program your out of the game.

Those apps only watch the leftover list for you. Once a tag hits the list, you get a alert. You still have to go onto the CPW site and go through purchase process faster than everyone else. I have had one for the last 2 years and still cant seem to be fast enough.

If you think sharing a leftover tag watch is the same as putting out GPS coordinates for a honey hole, you and I will have to agree to dissagree. Anyone with a phone or computer can find that info out without help from me or anyone. Honey holes are the result of years of personal blood, sweat, and tears.Unless you are a really lucky SOB.? But I will take your admonishment to heart and I won’t ever share any specific or even general info with you publicly or privately.

Other weeks I might just keep my mouth shut when an internet guru rags on me, but one of my best friends died while riding in a helicopter that crashed on Saturday doing a job he was retiring from at the end of August, so I am a little raw.

I got another error. License is not for sale as a leftover.

One was for a buck tag that would go to the next five high point holders, but another was for a doe tag that took no points.

I got lucky this year. I didn't feel like getting in line at 3am to be first and I needed two tags. That's impossible when in line.

So, I tried to do it online. It went smooth and I got a buck tag and a cow elk tag. I never would have thought doing it online would work. I do have a fast computer and internet speed. That probably helped some.

Did snag an excellent cow elk tag last week, so I'm not complaining, more just curious cause I'm pretty darn quick.
